I love photographing the weddings of friends. Dan and Trichelle’s wedding in Mansfield OH was so much fun for us. We already knew most of the bridal party and many of the wedding guests. The bride and groom went out of their way to make us feel welcome not only as their photographers, but also as their guests. The ceremony was beautiful (and short- start to finish in under 10 minutes). Afterward we headed downtown Mansfield for a few quick photos with the bridal party before rushing off to the reception at the Sons of Herman hall. Before dinner, Bestman, Alex eloquently gave his speech, which was a funny joke that he wrote for the occassion. The cake was cut and then received the worst smashing I’ve ever seen. Somehow I got hit with “friendly fire” and found cake on both my face and my camera. Yum. The bridal party and a small group of others kept the party going on the dance floor until very late. Jonathan and I even set our cameras aside and took a spin around the floor. Sorry, no photos of that.
…and this is Joe.
He wanted to be on our blog. (Pictured here with the lovely Lindsay.)

Loving it so far…….cant wait to see the rest. It was great having friends do the photography b/c it didnt feel like some stranger invading our day, just strange people
Thanks again!

Joe, that’s one of my favorite pictures (along with about 200 others). I hope in the near future we’ll be able to get together and visit more.
