Jaimee & John- engaged (a second shoot)

Why a second shoot?  Jonathan and I loved photographing John and Jaimee for their snowy engagement session (check it out Here) and the resulting photos are among some of our favorites so we were anxious to work with this couple again.  I originally had the idea to do a winter, spring, summer, and fall shoot returning to the same location for some of the pics.  Unfortunately time and scheduling wouldn’t allow this but we were happy to oblige when John asked if we could do a summer session at Bowling Green State University, where he and Jaimee met.

I love the way John looks at Jaimee.  He can’t take his eyes off her.

There’s a story behind this next photo.  Apparently, legend has it if a guy kisses a girl at midnight at this seal (I can’t remember; does it need to be a full moon?) he’ll marry her.  Turns out John had already brought a girl here before he met Jaimee.  This photo was taken at her suggestion, love it.

As a sidenote:  I’m kicking myself for not handing a camera to one of them to get a shot of me taking this picture.  In order to get the right angle to see the seal I was photographing this while sitting on Jonathan’s shoulders.

Keep an eye on this blog.  Jaimee and John’s wedding photos will be coming soon.
